Pricing FAQ

  • Is the Open Source tier really free forever?
Yes. Apache 2.0 means you can run it, modify it, and ship it commercially without paying us. We make money on Enterprise and Cloud.
  • What's the difference between Open Source and Cloud feature-wise?
Same engine, same ingest, same query languages. The Cloud tier adds the operational layer — we run the database, ship updates, watch the alerts. You only own your collector config.
  • When do I need Enterprise vs Open Source?
When losing observability for an afternoon is more expensive than a year of Enterprise — typically when you cross ~100 GB/day or have audit obligations. Talk to us; we'll be honest if Open Source is enough.
  • When does Cloud launch?
No public date yet. We're focused on shipping v1.0 self-hosted first. Waitlist signups get the first invites.
  • Can I migrate from Open Source to Cloud later?
Yes. Same Parquet schema and same query engine — your dashboards and queries port over without rewrites.

Not sure which tier?

If you're running observability for fun, learning, or under ~100 GB/day, Open Source is enough. If you need SLAs or compliance support, talk to us. If you want zero ops, get on the Cloud waitlist.
